 Today we started reading and preparing for a discussion. I am the travel tracer so I keep track of wher Yolanda travels. I feel like this will show us what it is like in the Dominican Republic.

 Today we continued reading the book. I was surprised that Troy had a pedi file dad that was a domestic abuser and Troy turned out the way he did. Troy might not be as nice of a guy but he at least works and does what he supposed to do and he is not a domestic abuser.

 Today we read let America Be America Again. It is talking about how American has never truly been America for non white or poor white people and it is time for America to be truly America for them, this was written when by Langston Hughes in the early 1900s. I feel like right now America is truly America because everyone has a chance to become something here in America and it is not nearly as fascinating as it use to be.

 Today we read the book and we went over part of what we are going to be doing for writing our essays. I was surprised that Troy admitted to rose that he was cheating on her. I also was really surprised that he got the girl pregnant. It took some courage to say it but he still is not a good person for doing what he did.
