Andrew 8-17-23

 Today we wrote down a few thing like something people think about you that isn’t true. We also wrote down like what America meant to us. Then we read through The poem I TOO by Langston Hughes and went through what he meant by it. What he meant was he was just as American as any white person. I feel like what he was saying is true because it is not about skin color.

 Today we read some more Langston Hughes poems. The second poem was about the innocents of a new born baby and the terrible world the baby has to live in. I feel like the first one is about the happiness of a new born baby.
